Recently we were approached to coat a mower base for the legendary Victa lawn mower company to celebrate their eight millionth mower coming off the production line.

P and L Cycles Harley Chopper

This is a bike we did recently for Pieter Van Stralen of P and L Cycles in Sydney.

The frame was done in gloss black powdercoat and all ancilleries were done in black satin powdercoat.

The exhaust is done in black velvet ceramic and the photos dont do this one justice!!

There is nothing more annoying than an exhaust leak!

And quite often when people fabricate an exhaust manifold they will bring it to us to be coated without checking the flatness of the gasket flange. The manifold will then be bolted to the head after it is coated and is prone to premature leakage even with sealer, often right from the first time the engine is fired up. Not only will this affect the performance of the engine but it will also affect the tune and in a turbocharged engine cause a loss of boost and if left unchecked the hot exhaust gas passing through the leak can cause the flange to warp even further, and in the worst cases the flange may need replacing.

Here is just a small example of what we can do at Hi Octane Performance Coatings. The rocker covers are Red Candy over Cerama-Chrome and the inlet manifold and compressor cover are in Ceramachrome rated to 700 degrees. The exhaust manifold and turbine housing are in satin black Turbo X rated to 100 degrees.
